Wishful thinking

***
It finally felt appropriate to post this as I can begin the Christmas countdown.
This year, I wish for icy cold, crystal white snow (instead of 40 degree heat), red robbins on my windowsill, crackling fires and hot chocolate, brown paper packages tied up with string, old fashioned toy shops, nutcrackers, a plane trip to Paris, tickets to the ballet*, to fall in love (with anyone or anything), Turkish delight and tea with Mr Tumnus, turtledoves, bath tubs full of bubbles, watercolour paints, festive lights, mince pies, plum pudding, a typewriter, to be able to sing ('tis the season to be jolly), skeleton keys, porcelain figurines, rings and other shiny things, vintage wear, bows, books, a pretty nightgown and everything to be absolutely magical. What do you wish for?
*to dance like a sugar plum fairy would be lovely too

  10. Hello,
Thank you so much for your comment. I'm glad you liked my post.
Oh, I wish I had a doll house as well, I never had one (if you don't count the plastic, second-handed, barbie house)
And I'm a fan of water color myself. I love the way it looks. And I'm currently reading Lolita which is truly amazing.
    Hope you're well. xx

  11. You have the prettiest wishlist! I'd especially love Turkish Delight and tea with Mr Tumnus. I asked my mother for a plane ticket to London, but she only laughed and said if she could afford it, she'd have been there already. x

  12. Dear Carina, thank you for expressing interest in the magazine. I will tell you more about it (including how to submit - that is, if you manage to create something you're happy with!) when I have finished the website, probably in a few weeks.

  13. i can safely say that i'm wishing for what you've wished for too! :) i wish for a white christmas - though it'll be quite impossible since we never have winter here. hehe. i'm just wishing (realistically) for a lovely december holiday + a memorable christmas with loved ones. nothing too far-fetched, just a fun month ahead.

hope december has been treating you well. x
