My aunt just came back from France recently. She went to Cannes and Nice for a week, and how wonderful of her to bring me back a box of macarons! They were ever so pretty, not to mention delicious, I just had to take some pictures. My aunt told me stories of the beautiful French doors in her hotel, the orange tree and flowers in the courtyard, of afternoons wandering the streets seeing little patisseries, boutiques and finding markets selling fresh produce one day and antiques the next. Her delightful tales made me
wish wish wish upon a star that one day I will go to France too, specifically Paris. I would visit the Eiffel Tower, Laduree, Monet's Garden in which I would watercolour paint all day. On other days I would take trips to the food markets, spend a whole day or more in the Lourve and Disneyland Paris. I would make a special trip to the Versailles too and imagine I am Marie Antoinette...
If only I could continue dreaming forever, but already I see mountains of work piling up before my eyes. I'm afraid I have to leave my world, just for a little while. Also, thank you all for your lovely comments, I cherish each and every one :)
this is so lovely! your vision of Paris sounds perfect, especially Versailles (I dream of visiting) :)
