Treasures and tea

I have been so very spoiled for my 16th birthday. I love my little bottle of Miss Dior Cherie, and j'adore dior. The box they came in was like a treasure box. I also recieved from my parents a lovely new dress and Beatrix Potters Journal from my grandparents.
The evening before my birthday, my family and I went to a little Italian cafe, and it was a night comprised of laughter and enjoying delicious food. My entre was a pumpkin, cheese and capsican tart, followed by a main of heavenly, melt in my mouth spinach and ricotta tortellis with a hazelnut butter sauce and finally the most delightful pear and chocolate pudding for dessert. The weekened of course was spent preparing and holding my tea party, it was a bit hot and so we had our tea and cakes inside, but it turned out to be a wonderful day.

P.S I recently discovered an artist that I adore, Joanna Newsom. She is amazing, her voice, her instrument...this particular song reminds me of folklore. She truly is a magical being. Joanna was actually performing in Perth last night, but I missed out unfortunately.
