Secret Garden

"And I saw a little girl, her eyes tightly closed, holding to her breast the old kind world, one that she knew in her heart could not
remain, and she was holding it and pleading, never to let her go"

***
I feel like I'm still holding on tight to the 'old, kind world', or my childhood. I'm begining year eleven tomorrow, I feel like time flies too fast and sometimes I wish I could just pause everything. I am excited about my future, but also a little scared and anxious.

Today I went to a cafe in South Perth called 'The Secret Garden' and it truly was like a little hideaway garden. The photo of myself was taken in a nursery next door to the cafe. I thought it would be nice to show my face on my blog, so you all know what I look like. I had a wonderful time playing with my dear little cousin, munching on a blueberry muffin, sipping tea and taking in the wonderful atmosphere. I also went to the op shop and got a few more tea cups. For the remainder of the day I will paint and maybe read, so it will be a relaxing afternoon.

Have a wonderful February my dears.

  4. Lovely photographs, dear! You're gorgeous :) Good luck with year 11, it can get a little iffy, and nerves set in, but you'll be fine. Soak up year 11, because year 12 goes by so, so fast and requires so much focus. xxx
