I wish you could take a firm hold of dreams, that they were physical objects. To delicately place them in a dress pocket alongside favourite sweeties so they could be resurrected on countless occasions for reasurrence, motivation, comfort. Little gleaming gems stones that only the owner could interpret and make a connection, to be forever protected and treasured. Never out of reach and used to soothe the achings of ones fragile heart.
Beautiful x
ReplyDeleteI wish all this too. You write beautifully my dear. Hope you are well :) xx
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. So fragilely beautiful. And so heartfelt, so honest and so you. I wish we could touch our dreams just to feel them on our fingertips to be reminded how real they are and to be filled with the heath of life and the light of hope. I hope you still can keep your dreams safe and take a look at them whenever your heart needs to be comforted.

That would certainly be lovely. Perhaps we dreamer girls should gather in abandoned woodhuts and invent a strange new chemical compound that could make dreams physical. Just a thought.

ReplyDeleteWell I do really wish to be able to hold on to my dreams, as though they were physical objects. Things would seem much simpler that, I would think.

ReplyDeleteDarling pocket! Perhaps you can carry your dreams written on a piece of parchment folded into an origami swan. (That's what I do.) xo
